    I'm surprised by the 3.5 star rating for this 5 star, family-owned sub shop in College Park. They've been in business over 50 years and still going strong.

    Consistent quality food, with friendly staff and true southern hospitality. The buffalo chicken sub was amazing, as was the tuna sub. The prices are reasonable and portions filling. The foot longs can easily feed two. Know that the line can be long, but it moves quickly!

    Overall, highly recommended! Hope you stay around another 50 years!

    If you've driven up and down Edgewater, you may have noticed Gabriel's sub shop. If you haven't, you should because they've been open for over 50 years! In my book they must be doing something right! A neighbor of mine raves about this place, so my wife and I came to grab some sandwiches to go. You definitely get the mom and pop feel, when you walk in and the associates behind the counter greet you, ask if it's your first time, and give you some recommendations. The menu is bigger than we expected as they offer more than sandwiches, because there are wings, salads, and wraps available.

    The gentleman behind the counter recommended their buffalo chicken ranch sandwich so I trusted his recommendation, and my wife got a turkey sandwich. I was happy with the recommendation as my sandwich was loaded with chicken and my wife loved her turkey sandwich. The buffalo wasn't overwhelming and had great flavor! I'll remember to take a picture the next time so I can advertise the sandwich artistry.

    I see why they have been in business so long. The customer service was top notch and super friendly. The prices are amazing and the food was declicious. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich this time and look forward to trying their philly cheesesteak on my next visit! Oh and the curly fries are a MUST!

    Just heaven... the best Regular Italian... quick service, friendly, accommodating.  So worth my 35 minute drive.

    They have great subs and friendly employees. Also serve wings and fries. Always get the ham/provalone with EXTRA pickles...luv those pickles. There's a reason why it's been around for 3+ generations.
